Do You Need An Extreme Makeover?

We are offered so many opportunities to improve our image. You can easily acquire firming lotions, cosmetic surgery, injection for fuller lips, the latest diet and the latest fashion in clothes. Millions of dollars are spent annually for cosmetics, perfume and clothes with the hopes that it will make us look and feel better. Yet, after all the “things” we purchase to improve our self-image we discover that the “things” we have purchased are only temporary.

If the time and money spent to improve our looks and self-image were compared to the time and money spent on the eternal things in our lives which would be declared more valuable in our lives? Next year there will be a faster, quicker and more durable firming lotion and another style of clothes presented on the runway of life. Why is it that we spend more time on the temporary things of our lives than on the eternal matters that determine our destiny?

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgement, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

You want a new look!?! You want an extreme makeover!?! Stop! Realize that you are who you are because of the Christ in you. Your extreme makeover took place on Calvary and was completed in you when you said “I believe and accept Christ as my Savior!”

Walk in the newness of life! Enjoy your extreme makeover! (Oh by the way, I use Clinique products!) LOL!!!!
