Making a Difference - Abraham School of Hope

Abraham School of Hope is a character building faith organization located in Statesville, NC at 1122 Shelton Avenue. She is founded upon Genesis 15 - 18 - ending at the eighteen verse, where the question is asked, “Is there nothing to hard for God to do?”

Abraham School of Hope includes a twelve months course, consisting of five an one-half weeks of classroom instruction. The classes are design to teach one how to successfully be yourself in this life. This program will impact the lives of youth and adults alike into becoming a better person. All ages are welcome, however the invitation especially goes out to those of age 14-18 to teach them about the necessity of good character building.

Abraham School of Hope had her humble beginning on September 17, 2007 at the The Fifth Street Ministry Homeless Shelter. Because of space and interest, she later move to the Church of God of Prophecy, located at 1122 Shelton Avenue, under the leadership of Pastor Ruby Clark (Founder & Organizer), who realized the need for hope reached beyond the homeless shelter.

The Abraham School of Hope has a four-fold Mission.

First of all, we are committed to making a difference in the community in which we live, by demonstrating what hope is. Hope is faith, the evidence of things hope for, but not yet seen, but having the faith to believe that it is possible.

Faith can change lives through positive thinking, “I am who God say I am, I can do what God say I can do.” Positive thinking builds bridges that connect ones body to ones mind, “Where your condition in life does not describes our position in life. We use the common sense approach to making lives better.”

Thirdly, hope builds character faith, which has the power to break generational curses of poverty, sickness, homeless, jobless, loveless and low self-esteem.

The Abraham School of Hope, can and will improve lives through education, motivation, inspiration and skill building.

The Abraham School of Hope has a three-fold purpose. Our purposes are to position one on the right path and enable one to make their dream come true of becoming a better person.

To motivate and inspire one to make the necessary changes in life to begin a life changing journey.

To demonstrate that any thing is possible as long as there is a desire to achieve it.

To enable one to view what life has in store with Success stories, trips, contacts, movies and skill building.

The Abraham School of Hope provides leadership, encouragement, inspiration and empowerment to those who are touched with this experience. It’s an ongoing experience never to be forgotten. We tear down strongholds, and destroy them while replacing them - Everything that is negative that is remove, we replace it with something possible.

Abraham School of Hope's objective is to improve lives in giving one a voice in their lives by deciding their future. For one to know and understand that their condition in life, does not describe their condition in life. “We live our lives by design and not from crises to crises.”
