I trust this email finds you enjoying God’s richest blessings. We are praying for you, that God would grant

you His favor and increase your strength with each new day.

I have been asked to send a note to all of our Overseers concerning the printed usage of the church flag. For many

years, our National, Regional, and State Offices, as well as local churches, have enjoyed permission to freely use the

church flag logo on a variety of printed matter including church signs and stationery.

Recently, we have been instructed by our intellectual property attorneys that any entity using the church flag

on printed materials “should print it with the ® adjacent to the church’s flag mark any time it appears on published

material.” If you would rather not use this service mark, you may instead print the following statement somewhere

on the document: “This flag is a trademark of the Church of God of Prophecy registered in the USPTO.” This request

not only applies in North America, but every part of the globe. For your convenience, the church flag artwork with

the ® is available here.

Certainly, we understand that those using the flag on their printed matter may possibly have an ample supply of

items. We are not asking that these items be discarded or unused. Rather, we ask that you keep this request from

our attorneys in mind when your items are reprinted.

Finally, this request does not apply to the logo designed several years ago featuring the flame, globe, scepter, star,

and crown since this particular logo is not a registered trademark of the church.
