Message from the Pastor

I want to extend an invitation to you to come and worship with us at the Grantham Church of God of Prophecy. Our Sunday School starts at 10:00 am followed by our 11:00 am worship service. Services begin at 6:00 pm on Sunday nights and 7:30 pm on Wednesday nights. 

At Grantham, our focus is upon pleasing God and loving people. We believe the Bible is the true Word of God, and the standard by which to live our lives. Our hope and expectation is in Jesus Christ. Because of who He is, we know there is nothing too hard for Him. He specializes in the impossible. Luke 1:37 states "For with God nothing shall be impossible." Matthew 19:26 declares "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27 also emphasizes Jesus' miraculous nature: "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." We are so excited about the miraculous ways God is working in people's lives and situations. No one has to live in despair and bondage because the hope of Jesus changes people and things. Jesus died on a cross to bring salvation to mankind. He bore stripes upon His back to bring healing and deliverance. Jesus is able to minister to needs. We encourage you to surrender yourself and your needs to Jesus. He offers an invitation: "Come unto me, all ye that labour, and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30). Just as Jesus offers an invitation to come to Him, those of us at Grantham extend an invitation for you to come and worship with us. We hope to see you soon.
