February 2010

Gold Valley is praising the Lord for an awesome Women's Conference, February 5-6, 2010. It was originally scheduled for January 29-30, 2010, but due to snow and ice it was postponed. On Friday night the women started gathering even thought the weather was again cold and icy. Ninety-five women were determined to hear from God. Kay Horner spoke on "When the Flesh Beholds His Glory in Worship." Amy Murray taught a class on "Developing a Heart of Worship: Vertical Vision or Horizontal Haze." Syliva Staten spoke on the theme, "Worship! Our Battle Cry."

There were many testimonies of deliverance and healing. It was a wonderful time of fun, fellowship, and hearing the Word. Our men's ministry prepared a delicious breakfast and lunch for the ladies on Saturday.

Sister Horner spoke during the Sunday morning service following the conference. Her topic was "Choosing Our Valley." The altar was filled and again more testimonies of changed lives. There were also people who testified of changed hearts and lives as they watched our live streaming of the conference and Sunday morning worship.

If you would like to view any or all of the conference, go to www.goldvalley.org and follow the directions to the archives. Judy Dickerson, Conference Director
