The Canton, Phillipsville church is continually blessed. On Sunday, August 26, we loaded up our church bus and went to Camp Shadow Campground in Canton, NC., in the beautiful river there. After I shared briefly on Water Baptism. I was assisted by Deacon Jack A. Chapman and Deaconess (Trial) Grace E. Grimes in baptizing 14 candidates. This was especially exciting for Sister Grimes as she assisted me in baptizing Brother Henry Jr., our eldest son, who had been away from the Lord for more than 25 years. We also baptized two of our grandchildren. Each candidate was awarded a beautiful Baptism certificate.  Revival fires are ablaze. Evangelist Chucky Chandler was our evangelist August 26 - 29, 2007. The Spirit of God was so powerful each evening. We joined in a time of Praise and Worship each evening and God blessed His people. Every night the messages were anointed. We anointed and prayed for the sick and several testified to their healing. Others testified that they had really been revived and encouraged. There was feasting each evening as the minister broke the Bread of Life for our edification. Following the Altar Call, there was laughing, dancing, weeping, tongues and interpretations. To God be the Glory! Bishop Henry B. Grimes, Jr.
