The Selma, Elizabeth Street Church celebrated our 90th Anniversary October 17-18. On Saturday, October 17 we Reflected on the Past, Rejoiced in the Present and Envisioned the Future. Speakers for that service were Bishop H. B. Edwards, Bishop Guy T. Robinson and Pastor Bishop Michael L. Johnson. Also we honored all the pastors who have served the church. On Sunday, October 18 the Guest Speaker was Bishop J. E. Brisson. He brought a timely message entitled "In Defense of the Local Church." We also displayed pictures on our video system of those who were a part of the church past and present. Following the service we had a group picture taken and then we went to the Fellowship Hall for a wonderful feast. The attendance was great with at least 125 attending the Sunday service. The Selma Church looks forward to great things in the future. We realize the future of the church is just as bright as our vision. Thank God for the Selma Elizabeth Street Church of God of Prophecy.
