Reaching Out Beyond Our Four Walls. It is amazing how
hurting people respond to a small touch or offering of the Love of Christ. And
only with that touch will the lives of people be changed forever for Christ. Our
world is waiting for us to Obey God, So They Can. And in that obedience we begin
to see those once hurting people saved, healed, delivered and set free and
filled with the Joy of the Lord. You know that joy is our strength. Since
reaching out to those hurting people our lives have become more enriched and our
mind has begun to change. Instead of looking at our needs, we are beginning to
search for ways to meet the needs of others. And then we realize our needs are
being met because our focus is on the Christ who sees to it that we have
everything we need as we see to it that others needs are met. Join us in
reaching out beyond your four walls and see a lost, hurting and dying world
begin to be found, healed and resurrected to the Life of Jesus Christ.
White Oak Church honored our Seniors who have been faithful to this local
church. Five of those Seniors are 90 years of age or older. Families came to
celebrate the faithfulness of these wonderful people of God. We enjoyed a slide
show of photos of these individuals and their deceased spouses when they were
much younger and stronger. God set His approval on this day of the Celebration
of Their Lives and Their Years of Service to this local church. We thank God for
a people who have endured hardness to see the fruits of their labors. 75 people
were in attendance.
Kid's Day gave us an opportunity to share with the entire community Free games
and food were offered to all who attended. The children in attendance registered
as they arrived. All 65 kids were given a free gift of their choosing and also
were entered into a drawing for two bicycles. The laughter and the squeals of
children playing and enjoying a safe, joy filled atmosphere was incredible. We
laughed as church leaders were splashed in the dunking booth. People rejoiced
while Praise and Worship Music was played. The Life and Love of God is being
shared with whosoever will participate with God's release of His power and
presence in this community. All barriers were crossed including race,
denomination, gender and age. What a mighty God we serve. How Great is Our God.
Respectfully Submitted, Deloris Keuvelaar
