North State continues to offer affordable quality
education. Because North State is not accredited, we have entered into
an agreement with Apex School of Theology. North State students who
decided to continue their studies beyond our school and wish to earn an
accredited Bachelors Degree, Apex School of Theology will give credits
up to 30 hours depending on a portfolio criteria.
What this means is Apex School of Theology will evaluate North State
student transcripts. If North State students have earned at least an
Associate Degree, they will be granted up to 30 semester hours depending
on their portfolio criteria set by Apex School of Theology. Because
North State is not accredited, Apex cannot accept our credits unless a
portfolio is completed and approved by Apex.
If North State students have received credits from other accredited
institutions, they will receive full transfer of credit for those
courses.
Apex is recognized by the U. S. Department of Education and accredited
by Tracts. This means financial aid will be available by the Department
of Education. This financial aid is solely the choice of the student
alone and North State is not in the equation since it is not accredited.
North State has an opportunity to train and educate many of our people
who other wise may not ever get a chance to receive theological
education. This should be an incentive to encourage others to attend
